The World According to Bertie by Alexander McCall Smith
I have equitable finished perusal The World According to Bertie by Alexander McCall Smith.
Epitome
“The World According to Bertie” is the fourth in the order and revolves around the many colourful characters that draw near and go at No. 44 Scotland Public way. McCall Smith handles the characters with his wonted charm and deftness - the brawny Tory chartered supervisor, the pushy female parent, and, most importantly in this fresh, the beleaguered Of italy-speaking marvel, Bertie. This is master-piece McCall Smith - clever, jocular and entertaining - and beautifully illustrated. A fortuity encounter with Armistead Maupin in San Francisco inspired Alexander McCall Smith to pen this series of novels based around the fictional No. 44 Scotland Highway in Edinburgh’s New Village.
What can I say about the latest installment in the No. 44 Scotland Highway series?
I loved it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Alexander McCall Smith books that I have peruse, and this was no exception.
They books are so not difficult to read, and I flinch every book anxious to find out what happens, but when I get to the last brace of chapters I don”t default to read anymore ……. because I don’t deficiency the story to end.
I have disarrange reading because of my OCD. ![]()
It doesn’t body what I am reading I always ‘have to’ peruse each sentence then go back and number how many words there were in it!
Rickety I know.
