Tell Me Your Story Bloggy Carnival

DidiLyn over at Meyers on the Head cover is hosting a in deed unique Bloggy Carnival this week called “Sum up Me Your Story.” All I have to do is enumerate MY story...should be light enough, right?


I grew up in a Disciple of christ home. We were in house of worship every time the doors were opened. The temple I grew up in was very rules-oriented, and the rules made the breath of one's nostrils difficult. I also attended the place of education run by the church.



I erudite a lot about God while in this church. I lettered that Jesus had died for my sins. I lettered that all I had to do was to ask Him to come be animated inside of me. I knew all of this from an seasonable age. In my child's inner man, I didn't defect to do that yet. I had a lot of time. I was scared that if I did ask Jesus into my the vital spark, I wouldn't have any more fun. And fun was much more momentous to me than was praying or having God in my the vital spark.



During this time construct, a new Christian radio post came on the air. There were lots of boring preachers on there, and lots of enormous music. I loved listening to the harmony. There was also a time on Saturday mornings set to one side for children's programing. I LOVED listening to the stories. The Uninhabited Ranger. Fibber McGee and Molly. The Virid Hornet. The Pl of child's Bible Hour. I loved them all. I could be transported out of my the breath of life in my imagination and have being these great stories.
